The GORE-TEX® Footwear Membrane is based on the same expanded PTFE technology as is used in our clothing. High pressure in a micro-climate created inside the footwear, forces vapour to breathe out towards the low pressure climate outside the shoe. This process keeps the foot dryer and therefore warmer in cold weather and more comfortable in all conditions.
