ANATOMY OF THE FOOT

Even though our feet may seem rather plain, they are actually one of the most amazing and most utilised parts of the human body.

Our feet are constantly under stress as we go about our normal lives. Our feet work for us the whole day, whether we stand, play, run, or walk, and in the process they become the most affected part of our anatomy. Each foot has 26 bones, 30 joints, and more than 100 ligaments and muscles to keep it functioning.

Anatomically designed foot beds and shock absorbing mid-soles are just 2 of the features of our footwear. Many of our shoes have also been given an anti microbial treatment to resist unpleasant foot odours, and padded tongues and collars for increased comfort.

The foot is an incredibly complex mechanism, and we need to look after our feet. Please find below some useful links.
