Back to work for Zara as she launches children’s clothing line

The below article was on thisisgloucester.co.uk about Tuesday’s launch with Zara Phillips:

‘Just three days after the Queen’s granddaughter and the England and Gloucester rugby star got married in Edinburgh, she was back in the county to launch her new range of children’s clothing.

The 13th in line to the throne and former eventing world champion held the launch of her new Musto collection at a farm in Upper Slaughter, the home of a family friend.’

‘After leading seven to 13-year-old girls through a gymkhana, each one modelling clothes from the ZP176 range, she was happy to talk about the wedding.

“Just having all of our friends and family in one place and having a good time was the best part of it,” she said.

But now it’s back to life as normal for the couple, who live together in Cheltenham.

“We had an amazing day, but both of us are back at work now,” she said.

“This is what we do, after all.

“We’re in the middle of the eventing season and Mike has just started training with England, so the honeymoon will have to wait.”‘

‘Zara, daughter of the Gatcombe-based Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, revealed that she had been in competition just a few days before the ceremony.

“I wasn’t worried about a fall, but everyone else was,” she said.

“If anything, I thought I’d trip up on a step and injure myself that way.”

She also took the chance to explain why she is keeping the name Phillips.

“It’s more for the professional side of things,” she said.

“I’m very much Mrs Tindall both privately and publicly, but at the professional level, I will be Phillips as well.”

Zara is now focusing on the Festival of British Eventing, which takes place on her mother’s estate later this week.”
