In the Press: Zara Phillips has teamed up with outdoor clothing specialists Musto

Yahoo posted an article under their news section yesterday about our ZP176 launch with Zara Phillips:

Zara Phillips has teamed up with outdoor clothing specialists MUSTO to launch her own line of equestrian clothing.  The 29-year-old has launched her collection in London which is meant to “exude style and elegance”.

The Queen’s eldest granddaughter is a brand ambassador for the company which was founded in 1965 by British Olympic sailor and engineer Keith Musto.  The British Eventing champion designed, developed and tested her collection which includes jackets, a fleece and gilet. Each piece carries the ZP176 logo, a combination of her initials and her British Eventing number.

She is not the first royal connection for the company which already has royal warrants from the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.“I wear Musto all the time while training and competing,” she said.  “It’s brilliant for keeping me warm and dry. I’m really excited about the ZP176 Collection; it combines technical fabrics with equestrian sport styling for jackets that really perform.”

The clothing brand is understandably delighted at the royal relationship.  Company CEO Nigel Musto described Miss Phillips as a “dedicated and extremely successful horsewoman” who is a “natural fit with the brand”.

The low-key princess, who is hoping to represent Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics, is far from the first “celebrity” to design a collection for a clothing brand, following in the steps of Kate Moss and Katie Price.’
