The Banque Populaire V boys are back in town

After 45 days 13 hours 42 minutes and 53 seconds at sea, maxi-trimaran Banque Populaire V smashed the non-stop round the worldspeed record today. French skipper Loick Peyron and crew crossed the line at Ushant, France at 08h 31m 42s on 22 November 2011 in pursuit of the Jules Verne Trophy for the fastest circumnavigation of the world by any type of yacht.

The previous record was 48 days 7 hours 44 minutes and 52 seconds. Congratulations from all at MUSTO!
