The Prince’s Countryside Fund photographic competition

David Cole from Petworth, Sussex has been crowned the winner of The Prince’s Countryside Fund photography competition. The competition, in association with Archant Life, challenged professional and amateur photographers to capture the beauty of the Great British countryside. Up for grabs was the prestige of winning as well as £500 and a MUSTO Jacket.

David’s image, which captures the moment a mole emerges from the earth, was one of six finalists selected from 3,600 entries by a panel of judges and put to the public vote. ‘Secret Countryman’, received 29% of the votes, with over 4,000 cast in total.

David’s winning image can be viewed at greatbritishlife.co.uk along with the other five finalists.  Well done David!
