Windstopper Fabric

A microporous membrane is used as a laminate to form a very breathable and durably windproof barrier.
WINDSTOPPER garments provide up to 2½ times more thermal insulation than conventional, non-windproof
garments. With an air temperature of 6°C, the wind chill in a moderate breeze of 20km per hour results in an actual
temperature of -2°C.

WINDSTOPPER® fabric offers outstanding levels of wind protection and breathability. Its microporous membrane is
laminated between two fleece fabrics for the Windstopper Shooting Jacket. These garments have 2½ times more thermal insulation than conventional, non-laminated versions.

WINDSTOPPER® fabric and garments prevent this wind chill effect from reducing the body’s temperature, so you
stay comfortable with fewer layers and less bulk – essential when freedom of movement is required.
