Our Ecommerce team are looking for a switched on, outdoor pursuits enthusiast to join the team. In this role, the CRM & Community Assistant will assist in delivering an amazing experience for our customers through the use of content, commerce and community. You will be responsible for encouraging brand interaction both on and offline to drive advocacy and database growth

Role accountabilities

Content

  • Assist in the creation of Community content online, bringing to life our products and partnerships. Maximise value from blogs, events and ambassadors in collaboration with the Marketing and Ecommerce Content teams, ensuring activity aligns with seasonal trading Calendar and is well co-ordinated across all digital channels.
  • Support in the management of the Musto blog.
  • Support the on-going SEO optimisation of content on and off-site.
  • Work with in-house photography studio to deliver image and video assets as required.



Social Media

  • Create and/or utilise content for social media channels ensuring cohesive content and tone of voice.
  • Support in executing social media campaigns including paid and targeted campaigns and advertising.
  • Measure and report on social media activity.
  • Monitor and support Social Media activity.
  • Respond to customer enquiries via social media on a timely basis including evenings and weekends.



CRM

  • Assist the Senior CRM & Community Executive in maintaining our customer data in Salesforce and Smart Focus. Using that data to drive insight, segmentation and target consumer groups.
  • Drive customer engagement in the Emails, improving performance against set KPI’s.
  • Assist in the building of template based e-mails, testing for functional and rendering quality and managing the approval process.
  • Measure and report on email and CRM activity.



General Accountabilities

  • You are expected to work towards our aim of ensuring that Musto retains its position as the World's Leading Sailing Brand and British Leader in equestrian and shooting and meets its objectives for growth and development of the brand.
  • Contribute to your own training and development including attending appraisal meetings. Your manager will assist you by maintaining a planned approach to agreeing your personal targets which will reflect the needs of the business.

Essential Qualifications

Degree level qualification in related subject preferable

Knowlege, Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience in a Social Media environment preferable
  • Understanding of social media channels and how they can be used to reach a target audience
  • Experience in the clothing retail sector or experience working with a quality/premium brand
  • Ability to edit and build responsive template based emails
  • Knowledge of HTML preferable
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience using Salesforce and SmartFocus an advantage
  • Understanding of consumer behaviour and content consumption across digital platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and deliver high-quality output every time
  • Strong interest in the digital landscape and premium fashion/apparel industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical product, preferably within the sailing, shooting & equestrian disciplines.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Other Requirements

This role is based in our London office and will require occasional visits to our Laindon office. Occasional travel will be required within the UK and internationally to cover Musto sponsored events.
