Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sadly this Jacket had to go back My husband bought an older version of this jacket and absolutely loved it. It was praised for warmth and practicality , and raved about constantly! We bought this newer version to replace the older one and while it seems the same it has a less substantial feel and is not as 'cosy'. It has a bit of a papery feel and while I'm sure it's an excellent jacket and possibly improved upon in some areas, it has not ticked the boxes for hubby. To decide I asked him if we kept it would he reach for the old one or the new one, and the answer was obvious. For £135 it wasn't worth keeping. Sorry Musto. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A MUSTO SNUG sails from France to British Columbia I was not familiar with MUSTO until I spent February to April 2007 in the chilly winds of La Rochelle, France, awaiting launch of my new 60 ft catamaran. I purchased a MUSTO SNUG XXL to allow lots of extra sweaters under, but it turned out that was not necessary. The jacket was worn continually and sailed across the Atlantic through the Panama Canal and up to the Pacific North West, where I live. It has been soaked, dirtied and washed many times and still keeps it sharp looking appearance. I just bought ( October 2015) another MUSTO SNUG, exact colour and size...not sure why because I feel I cannot retire the original one just yet ! Albeit I regularly am approached by fellow sailors as to where I bought my MUSTO!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very happy. I bought this jacket in February 2017, This is my 3rd Musto one over the last 10 years. All the previous ones have been brilliant, warm well insulated nice firm collars. But this new one is very thin, no padding in the collar so it just lies down and looks limp if you you try and pull it up. Lesser quality zips. You've Really cut back on the your standards and quality on this product. As they say in business if you want to make cut backs cut on labour and materials? You've definitely done that! K.FIELDER.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thinner than it used to be. I am a regular buyer of the Musto snug over the years since the introduction in 1988. The one I bought last summer in your store in Cowes is a little disappointing. The quality of the fleece lining is absolutely not as it used to be. Much thinner and lighter, so not as warm as the 8 previous ones, of which I still use 3. It will do as a light " summer" in between sort of coat, but certainly not on colder days. What a pity! I do hope your company will restore the former quality.
